I saw this sign several times on the highway and asked Ian to take a picture of it. Apparently, you can find a variety of modes of transportation on the road there!
We got a little lost trying to find the hotel, but we finally made it just in time to catch one of the last ferries over to Cádiz. I think Sophie loved the ferry ride more than the visit to the town itself!
This is a picture of Sophie pointing out all of the seagulls following the boat. She loved the seagulls!
Some views from the ferry ride:
(This one is an ice factory.)
A view of Cádiz as we pulled in:
We saw a cargo boat from Alexandria, Egypt!
The town was nice, but small, and didn't have too much to do, so we just wandered a little.
Our new camera has a "sunset" setting, but sometimes it makes things look a little creepy. The first picture is on a normal setting, but the second is the "sunset" setting.
Don't you just want to live in a place with an entrance like this???
When it was starting to get dark, we finally found ourselves in a little outdoor market where they were selling fresh churros. If you look closely, you can see me in line here.
And here is Sophie enjoying the churros:
