A third visa?

I'm not going to get too hopeful yet, but it seems that the French consulate in Chicago has indeed received the materials (faxed by a very helpful French bureaucrat) for my visa. I'll be flying up there tomorrow evening for a Monday morning appointment. Please keep your fingers crossed that it will all work out!

Visas! (Well, 2 out of 3 at least...)

So, Sophie and I got our visas on Saturday! Woohoo! We weren't sure if the French Consulate would process them without having Ian's information, but they did, and now Sophie and I will be legal.

Ian's still waiting for his to process, and it's looking more and more like he'll have to make a trip from Strasbourg to Chicago later in the summer, but at least we are 2 for 3 as of now!

Only nine days to go...
