Our last day in Paris was very, very cold. We decided to go to the Eiffel Tower that day, and to our surprise, so did everyone else in Paris! I think we stood in line for two hours in the freezing cold to go up, but it was fun (and foggy).

We did get some nice shot of the tower and ourselves up there, though.

We also got pictures of all of us (except Ian and Sophie) at the base:

After the Eiffel Tower, we headed over to the Champs Elysees, where apparently everyone else was headed for the New Year's celebrations. We walked down for a little while, and then decided to head back to the apartment since it was so cold and crowded. I think we had to separate and take five separate trains to get back because the metro was so crowded that only one or two people were able to get on at each stop!
The Champs Elysees was lit up for the holidays and was really pretty:

Our only complete family picture (with Sophie sleeping in her stroller!):

We just relaxed for the rest of the evening, and someone gave Sophie some chocolate....

We all headed to bed early that night because the next morning, my family was heading home, and Ian, Sophie and I were heading to Spain for a little vacation of our own!
