Revisiting Basel, Switzerland

The good news is that I am now able to post pictures again, but the bad news is that I have to go in and manually shrink all photos and then only load 2 or 3 at a time, so this will be a slow process. But, I'm finally back to posting pictures, and I'm hoping by next week, I'll be able to start posting pictures from our trip to Spain.

But in the meantime, I still need to catch up on the end of December! After Christmas, my mom, dad, brothers, Ian, Sophie and I took a daytrip to Basel, Switzerland. It was amazingly cold, but fun at the same time.

Basel had all of their fountains still running, and it was really cool to see them frozen over.

My mom in front of the Rathaus:

It was really cold...I think this is the only day my dad wore his hat!

Some views around town:

When Ian and I visited Basel in the summer, the cathedral closed before we got to go inside, but we got to this time, and it was beautiful! We had just gotten our new camera, and I was playing with the settings and forgot to turn the sepia setting off, so the first few pictures are in sepia:

And in color:

Ian being silly with his hood on. (Did I mention it was cold that day?!)

Overlooking the Rhine:

We got to the train station a little early, so we had some fun taking some pictures there:
