Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween from Strasbourg! Last night, we took Sophie out trick-or-treating with a group of American kids to a handful of houses (where Americans volunteered to give out candy). She really had a great time, even though it was cold and rainy! Sophie went as a ghost. When we first put the costume on her, she didn't want to keep it on...until she saw all of the other kids dressed up!

After trick-or-treating, Americans in Alsace hosted a party at the General Consul's house. We stopped by for a little while, but didn't stay long because it was already really late for Sophie (who at that point was doing fine because of all of the sugar coursing through her body!)



Sophie ended up melting down about two blocks from our house, but here's a picture of her posing with her little pumpkin o' candy on the tram ride home:
